Fans who went to the Teragram Ballroom on Thursday night in search of the old King Tuff had to settle for “The Other” King Tuff.

Tuffy, aka Kyle Thomas, and his band played all 10 tracks off the new album of that name. “The Other,” King Tuff’s first album since 2014, was released in April via Sub Pop Records. The hardcore faithful in attendance Thursday were into it, starting with the album’s title track (and opener) and ending with the closer, “No Man’s Land.” The new material was broken up by only a handful of older songs, highlighted by “Freak” (from 2008’s “Was Dead,” re-issued in 2013) and 2012’s “Unusual World.”

Cut Worms opened the night.

Setlist: The Other, Raindrop Blue, Circuits in the Sand, Birds of Paradise, Unusual World, Thru the Cracks, Psycho Star, Ultraviolet, Portrait of God, Freak, Neverending Sunshine, Infinite Mile, No Man’s Land
