► The Smokin’ Grooves festival brings Erykah Badu, Miguel, Jhene Aiko, NxWorries, the Roots, Busta Rhymes, H.E.R. and more to the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
► It’s officially Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, and Diana Ross is on hand to make it memorable.
► New Found Glory rocks the Wiltern, joined by Bayside, the Movielife and William Ryan Key.
► Local trio Pinky Pinky rocks an early show at the Echo, supported by the Two Tens and Dr. Danny.
