► La Luz headline the Teragram Ballroom in support of their new album “Floating Features.”
► Tiger Army have a new EP out and two shows to celebrate it. The first, tonight, is at the Theatre at Ace Hotel with Twin Temple supporting.
► The Specials headline the Fox Theater Pomona, with Lori Vee opening.
► Brooklyn’s Red Baraat bring their “Sound the People” summer tour to the Satellite, with the Higgs opening.
► Wavves play the final installment of the free music series FIGFest. It goes off at FIGat7th in downtown L.A., with Thumpasaurus supporting.
► Ted Leo & the Pharmacists have another sold-out night at the Echo.
► With his new album “re:member” on the way in August, Icelandic composter Olafur Arnalds performs at the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian.
► And Armors and La Bouquet rock the Moroccan Lounge. Younger Hunger kicks off the night.
