The Eagle Rock Music Festival will be back for its 19th year on Oct.6 in the quiet but eclectic Northeast L.A. neighborhood of local businesses and families, putting stakes up once again east of Eagle Rock Boulevard to highlight L.A. area musicians, visual artists and filmmakers on at least seven stages and venues along Colorado Boulevard. The free festival is slated to run from 4 to 10 p.m.
Sponsored by the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock in partnership with Councilmember Jose Huizar and Council District 14, this year’s announcement pitches the festival as “By Locals, For Locals,” signaling a closer community partnership as it draws an appreciative crowd from throughout the region.
Applications are now open for participating in the festival as a band/musician, visual artist/filmmaker, sponsor and/or vendor at EagleRockMusicFestival.org.
