► Dead & Company keep the Grateful Dead legacy alive at Dodger Stadium.
► Jennifer Hudson, with orchestra, holds the Hollywood Bowl in the palm of her hand for the second of two nights. 
► Bootsy Collins kicks up the funk for a free show at Grand Performances at California Plaza.
► Silentshout throw a party at the Bootleg Theater for their new single and video (see “Kid in the Headlights”). Eaves, Ben Babbitt and Celia Hollander open.
