L.A. ensemble Black Flamingo and their “tropical goth” music inspired a cult following their first time around, and those followers and some new recruits enjoyed the band’s reunion show Friday night at the Echo.

Original members Kimi Recor, Ammo Bankoff and Christopher Vick celebrated their a new EP, “Living Ghost” — a batch of four songs written before the band members parted ways but not released until two weeks ago. Under moody lighting and fog, they played those songs and a handful of older ones.

Dancing Tongues, the Great Sadness and Night Talks opened the night.
