KCRW today announced a new edition of their free, all-ages Summer Nights series — the Backyard Party @ KCRW HQ, at their new headquarters on Santa Monica College’s CMD campus.

The nights, which run from 7 to 11 p.m., will be held throughout August with the following performers and DJs:

Aug. 4: The Midnight Hour (Ali Shaheed Muhammad of a Tribe Called Quest and composer Adrian Younge performing with an 18-piece band) with KCRW DJs Garth Trinidad and Travis Holcombe

Aug. 11: Jim James (solo acoustic) with KCRW DJs Liza Richardson and Chris Douridas

Aug. 18: Henry Rollins (DJ set) with fellow KCRW DJs Dan Wilcox and Eric J. Lawrence

A bar, food trucks curated by Good Food’s Evan Kleiman and record dealers curated by Beats Swap Meet will also be on hand.
