► Beach House does the first of two sold-out nights on the Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in support of their new album “7.”
► With the arrival of his new album “Drogas WAVE” seemingly imminent, Lupe Fiasco plays the Regent Theater, joined by Kota the Friend and Uni-G.
► Charlie Wilson and the O’Jays do the first of two nights at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Vacationer headline the Teragram Ballroom in support of their new album “Mindset.” Get there early for Sego.
► Qui celebrate the release of their new album “Snuh” with a show at the Echo, with Retox and Ether Feather supporting.
► With their new album “Flowers in the Spring” landing on Sept. 7, the Molochs headline the Hi Hat, joined by Janelane, Post Life and Gold Cage.
► Roger Joseph Manning Jr. heads up a formidable lineup at tonight’s edition of the 21st annual International Pop Overthrow. The power-pop festival’s stacked lineup at Molly Malone’s incudes Chris Price, Fernando Perdomo, Linus of Hollywood and Danny Wilkerson, among others.
► And Bardo Martinez (of Chicano Batman) says it’s “Summer.” Probably a good season to see him tonight at the Lodge Room.
