Desert Daze adds Slowdive, Wooden Shjips and more to lineup for Oct. 12-14

British shoegaze greats Slowdive and Bay Area rockers Wooden Shjips are among the additions to the lineup for the seventh annual Desert Daze on Moreno Beach at Lake Perris.

A passel of stellar L.A. bands have also been added: Death Valley Girls, L.A. Witch, Cosmonauts, Vinyl Williams, Stonefield, Sugar Candy Mountain, Goon and the Mad Walls. The festival’s lineup has quickly turned into psych-rock / shoegaze / experimental rock heaven, with those bands joining the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Tame Impala, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Death Grips, and Mercury Rev (who will perform “Deserter’s Songs”).
