KRS-One and Masta Ace will be headlining this Sunday’s second annual West Adams Block Party, presented by Delicious Vinyl, embRACE LA and Dreamhaus LA.

The free, all-ages event, centered around Delicious Pizza at 5419 West Adams Boulevard from noon to 9 p.m. in the 90016, will be hosted by Sistah Dee Barnes from Queens, NY, and DJ QwessCoast from Inglewood, CA. The afternoon will feature DJ sets from mixers and scratchers from the Los Angeles area and Mexico, such as Kronika (Soulection/LA), Rail Up (Muñeka/ Kelman Duran/ foreigner), DJ R-Tistic (Gardena/LA), DJ Ethos (Morelia, MX) and DJ NGA Dave (DV Radio/LA). Pato Watson (MX) and DJ Rhettmatic (Beat Junkies/LA) will join among the live evening performances by KRS-One, Masta Ace, Slimkid3 & DJ Newmark (LA), Illa J + Frank Nitt with a special appearance by Ma Dukes (Detroit), Niña Dioz (Monterrey, Mexico) and Los Rakas (Oakland/Panama), presenting an eclectic mix of Afro-Caribbean funk, soul and hip-hop.

Arts and crafts, a soccer field, face painting and the magnificent “West Adams” castle jumpers will be available all day and night for the little kids. The Delicious Vinyl Pop-Up shop will be open at the Infinity Room for the big kids, featuring limited edition Delicious Vinyl and Lil Yachty T-shirts, Dilla Donuts and Block Party posters from local artists Aiseborn, Jacqueline Palafox, “Shirtking” Phade (Bronx/Brooklyn/NY) & Cook (Osaka/Japan).

And, of course, there will also be food trucks and vendors galore.
