Monday’s L.A. concerts:

► Shakira returns for another night at the Forum.
► It’s a night of improvisational and conceptual music at Zebulon: The five-member group of Jamie Stewart and Angelo Seo of Xiu Xiu, Carla Bozulich, Mate Tulipan and David Kendrick will perform to finish the night. They are preceded by Italian experimental group Father Murphy (“the sound of the Catholic sense of Guilt”) and, prior to that, by Bozulich live-scoring Harry Smith’s “Heaven and Earth Magic.”
► And three notable Monday night residencies kick off: Dream Machines at the Moroccan Lounge (with Maxim Ludwig and Turtles On Speed supporting); Cillie Barnes at the Bootleg Theater (joined by surprise guest Family of the Year and Zach Tabori); and Traps PS at the Echo (along with the Paranoyds, Michael Vidal and Post Life).
