► Industrial rock forerunners Killing Joke bring their “Laugh at Your Own Peril 40-Year Anniversary Tour” to the Regent Theater.
► Twilight on the Pier — the new name for the free concert series at the Santa Monica Pier — kicks off tonight with a Latin Waves program featuring Orquesta Akokán, Jarina de Marco, QUITAPENAS and Sister Mantos.
► Touring behind her debut album “Church of Scars,” Bishop Briggs headlines the Theatre at Ace Hotel, with Joywave supporting.
