L.A. concerts for Thursday:

► Brandon Coleman, the keyboard whiz for Kamasi Washington (among others) celebrates the release of his album “Resistance” with a show at the Lodge Room. He’ll perform with a 10-piece band on a night dubbed “Jazz Is Dead,” which also features the Steoples and a host of DJ luminaries.
► Gold Star marks the release of its new album, “Uppers & Downers” (the third from the Marlon Rabenreither solo project), with a show at the Highland Park Ebell Club. Shannon Lay and Harrison Whitford open.
► The great Anita Baker brings her Farewell Tour to the Greek Theatre.
► Azealia Banks headlines the Fonda Theatre.
► And psychedelic rockers Send Medicine headline the Bootleg Theater, joined by Asteroid Shop and Monique Maion.
