► The Growlers “Get Casual” (the title of their new album) at the Palladium, where Kirin J. Callinan opens.
► Kid Bloom and Smoke Season co-headline the “Undead Prom” at the Teragram Ballroom, with Bahari kicking off the night.
► Tune-Yards play the Mayan Theatre in support of her new album “I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life.” Meg REmy’s experimental art group U.S. Girls opens.
► With the new album “Crush Crusher” out Oct. 26, Jilian Medford and her band Ian Sweet headline the Lodge Room. Young Jesus and Total Heat.
► San Diego’s the Silent Comedy have a big new album coming out Friday — “Enemies Multiply,” their first release since the “Friends Divide” EP in 2013. They headline the Hi Hat, with Mourners opening.
► Rhye plays the Glass House, joined by Your Smith.
► The Mother Hips, who released their 10th album, “Chorus,” in June, play the Bootleg Theater, with the Coffis Bros supporting.
► And Allen Stone does a second night at the Fonda Theatre, joined by Nick Waterhouse.
