► The Crystal Method, whose new album “The Trip Home” came out earlier this year, perform in downtown L.A. at the Viaduct.
► British singer-songwriter-producer Tom Misch headlines the Hollywood Palladium.
► Thievery Corporation visits at the Wiltern in support of their latest release, “Treasures From the Temple.”
► With their fourth album “AARTH” out last month, Welsh rockers the Joy Formidable headline the Lodge Room, with Tancred opening.
► Gardens & Villa play the Zebulon, joined by Cornelia Murr.
► And the renovation of downtown’s Triforium is celebrated in the first of three Friday night performances, tonight’s featuring Reggie Watts and Jherek Bischoff + Quartet. It goes off at Main and Temple streets.
