L.A. concerts for Wednesday:

► BØRNS and Twin Shadow — both of whom released new albums this year, team up for a night at the Greek Theatre.
► On a rare North American tour, Scotland’s Simple Minds, who released their 18th album “Walk Between Worlds” in February, visit the Orpheum Theatre.
► Welsh singer-songwriter Gruff Rhys, best known for his work in Supper Furry Animals, released his fifth solo album this summer, “Babelberg.” He is winding up a rare full-band tour of North America with a show tonight at the Echo, with Lorkin O’Reilly supporting.
► And Bruno Mars is back for a second of three nights at Staples Center, with Ciara opening.
