► Legendary avant-pop stylists Sparks, winding up their tour behind their 23rd album “Hippopotamus,” do the first of two nights at downtown’s Palace Theatre. Superet opens.
► Circa Survive, touring behind their latest album “The Amulet” (which got a deluxe edition reissue last week), headlines the Palladium, supported by La Dispute and Queen of Jeans.
► Milo Greene visit the Teragram Ballroom behind their new album “Adult Contemporary,” with Sharaya Summers and Charley Dam opening.
► L.A. rapper DUCKWRTH, who’s about to take his Falling Man World Tour to Europe, does a hometown show at the Echo, with G.L.A.M. and Shaboozey opening.
► And Holy Wars celebrate the release of their new single “Born Dark” with a night at Gold Diggers, joined by SPELLES.
