► Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers, along with Lucy Dacus, play the Wiltern, performing songs from their solo releases and from the EP they made as the trio Boygenius.
► It’s the debut of Perry Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra at the Teragram Ballroom.
► In celebration of her EP “Songs From Primal Heart, Reimagined,” New Zealand songstress Kimbra will do a stripped-back show (guitar, upright bass and piano) at the Aratani Japan America Theatre.
► Doe Paoro, whose new album “Soft Power” is just out, and Springtime Carnivore team up for a show at the Lodge Room, with Colin Caulfield opening.
► Death Valley Girls rock the Echo behind their new album “Darkness Rains,” with Salt Lick, Secret Stare and Adult Parts supporting.
► Sean Rowe visits the Moroccan Lounge behind his latest album “New Love.” Girl Blue opens.
