Paul McCartney to play Dodger Stadium in July

Paul McCartney will play Dodger Stadium on July 13.

The date was among four added to the legendary rocker’s “Freshen Up” tour, on which he has been performing songs from his new album “Egypt Station” along with favorites from his vast catalog. His concerts have typically spanned almost three hours.

In addition to the L.A. date, Macca will play Petco Park in San Diego on June 22. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13 for both shows:

■ June 22 in San Diego
■ July 13 in Los Angeles.
