► Lauren Ruth Ward plays a hometown show at the El Rey Theatre in support of her album “Well Hell.” Get there early for Valley Queen and Rett Madison.
► Mancunian goth-pop quartet Pale Waves visit the Fonda Theatre in support of their debut album “My Mind Makes Noises,” with Kailee Morgue & the Candescents opening.
► Canadian hardcore greats Fucked Up play a show at the Echoplex in support of their latest album “Dose Your Dreams,” with Big Business and Narrow Head opening.
► The duo Heart Bones make their L.A. debut at the Regent Theater — it’s Har Mar Superstar and Sabrina Ellis, doing the music of “Dirty Dancing,” plus some originals. And the Chavez Ravine opens.
► DRINKS (Cate Le Bon & Tim Presley) give a performance at Pico Union Project in support of their album “Hippo Lite,” with BEEF (Stella Mogzawa & Boom Bip) and Conscious Summary opening.
► Nostalghia [see “Kingdom of Disturb”] celebrates Friday’s release of the album “Imago” with a show at the Moroccan Lounge.
► It’s “A Very She & Him Christmas Party” with Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward (who have released two holiday albums) at the Wiltern, where Alice Wetterlund opens.
► And L.A. duo Rituals of Mine bring their dark trip-hop to Resident, with VOWWS supporting.
