► U.K. techno duo Orbital, reunited for a second time and authors of their first new album in six years, “Monsters Exist,” headline the Belasco Theater, with Clint Mansell supporting.
► Peter Bjorn and John visit the Teragram Ballroom in support of their new album “Darker Days,” with Talos and Taken by Trees opening.
► Night 1 of KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas brings the Smashing Pumpkins, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Third Eye Blind, Greta Van Fleet and Bad Religion to the Forum.
► Knower headline the El Rey Theatre, joined by DOMi and JD Beck.
► The Wild Reeds host their holiday show at the Bootleg Theater, performing with Whispertown and Psychic Love.
► John Maus holds forth at the Regent Theater behind his new album “Screen Memories,” with Lunch Lady and Red Channel supporting.
► Canadian psych-rockers SUUNS, whose latest album “Felt” came out in March, play the Lodge Room, with Graham Van Pelt opening.
► Ramonda Hammer, who just wrapped up recording their new album, headline a fundraiser for Girls Rock at the Hi Hat. Rounding out the lineup: Flaviya, Blushh, Mini Bear, Esme + Zadie, Vanessa Silberman and Bridgette.
► And it’s Night 2 (of six) with Nine Inch Nails and the Jesus & Mary Chain at the Hollywood Palladium.
