It’s that time of year — over the next three weeks of the L.A. Buzz Bands Show, we’ll be taking a fond look back on 2018 (musically, at least). Every year, Buzz Bands LA publishes “Popular With Us,” a 101-song countdown of our favorite songs of the year (see last year’s). On tonight’s local music show on 88.5 FM (streaming at 885fm.org), I’ll have a selection of songs from the Top 40 from the list. Join me at 9 p.m. for tunes from Van William, Mt. Joy, Joey Dosik, Eels, Spare Parts for Broken Hearts, Teenage Wrist, Dear Boy, Lauren Ruth Ward, James Supercave and more. And stay tuned for more as we put the wrap on 2018.
