Thom Yorke gave a sonically and visually spectacular show Wednesday night at the Orpheum Theatre that included material from his solo catalog, soundtrack work and songs from the 2013 Atoms for Peace album — with Atoms for Peace members Flea and Joey Waronker joining him.

The beautiful Orpheum was buzzing from the start. Olive Coates opened up with eerie instrumental music from a darkened stage. As the lights slowly came up, Coates played cello with an electronic music backdrop.

Yorke took the stage about 10 p.m., along with Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri. He welcomed the crowd’s cheers with hands raised skyward, something he did a lot of throughout the night, and opened with “Interference” from 2014 album “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes.” He included favorites such as “Black Swan,” “Harrowdown Hill” and “The Clock,” all while intricate, glitch visuals appeared on the screens behind him.

During the first encore they played “Atoms for Peace,” as Flea and Waronker joined in. Yorke and Flea rocked and pranced around on stage. When they played another popular Atoms for Peace song, “Default,” most of the crowd stood up. After an almost two-hour set, they thanked the audience and left the stage but slowly returned for one more encore. Solo and on piano, Yorke played “Unmade” from his latest work off the “Suspiria” soundtrack. The visuals matched the album work and flowed slowly like tiny pink worms. Everyone stared in silence as he sang “Come under my wings … unmade” and the song ended.

Setlist: Interference, Brain in a Bottle, Impossible Knots, Black Swan, Harrowdown Hill, Pink Section, Nose Grows, Cymbal Rush, The Clock, Two Feet Off the Ground, Amok, Not the News, Truth Ray, Traffic, Twist. Encore: The Axe, Atoms for Peace, Default. Encore 2: Unmade
