Pop star Miguel will headline the inaugural Kind Music Festival on Feb. 23 in Desert Hot Springs. The one-day event, which is advertising itself as cannabis-friendly, will be held at the future site of Tyson Ranch Resort, a 420-acre spread billed as “an entertainment complex, luxury glamping resort and cannabis research and design facility created and owned by Mike Tyson.”

Chicano Batman, Starcrawler, Yonee and All My Friends Hate Me round out the music lineup.

In announcing the all-ages festival, organizers said it would “have the distinction of being the first-ever music festival that embraces California’s updated 2019 cannabis regulations.” Whether that means consumption of cannabis would be allowed is unclear, as the Press-Enterprise reported today.

Genreal admission tickets are $85; VIP passes are $165. They are on sale here.
