Audacious Long Island rockers The Lemon Twigs — brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario and a cast of merrymakers — returned last year with their sophomore album, “Go to School.” It’s a 15-song musical about a chimpanzee reared as a boy, a playfully bombastic feat of derring-do fitting for the siblings (ages 21 and 19, respectively) whose wildly theatrical performances are filled with acrobatics and scissor-kicks. The Lemon Twigs, on the second leg of their “Go to School” tour, play a don’t-miss show at the El Rey Theatre on Tuesday, Feb. 5, with Jackie Cohen opening.
