Join me at 9 tonight for the L.A. Buzz Bands Show on 88.5 FM (streaming at 885FM.org). On this program I’ll take a moment to pay tribute to Laura Peters, bandleader of the L.A. quartet Psychic Love, who died last week.

In addition, I’ll have music from forthcoming albums by Cherry Glazerr, the Moth & the Flame, JR Slayer and Harriet Brown (all of which are out this Friday), along with just-released tunes from Jenny Lewis, Better Oblivion Community Center, Claude Fontaine, FIDLAR and Liv Slingerland. Plus the premiere of a new song by Turtles on Speed, who are playing the Hi Hat on Thursday night.
