Animal Collective added to lineup for Desert Daze festival in October

Experimental music giants Animal Collective today became the second major act announced for the eighth annual Desert Daze festival.

The quartet joins Stereolab on the lineup for the event, Oct. 10-13, which returns for a second year to Moreno Beach at Lake Perris. Animal Collective’s latest release, the audiovisual album “Tangerine Reef,” came out last August.

Three-day passes are currently available for $199.
