L.A. concerts for Friday:

► BREATHEWATCHLISTENTOUCH (A Celebration of the Work and Music of Yoko Ono) is “the happening” celebrating the Fluxus artist’s 60+ years of creating works that provoke participation and peace at the Walt Disney Concert Hall tonight, with Shruti Kumar, Amber Coffman, St. Vincent, Shirley Manson, La Marisoul, Sudan Archives, Francisca Valenzuela, Miya Folick, Madame Gandhi and more.
► The Salute the Troops Music and Comedy Festival kicks off tonight, with the New Power Generation, André Cymone, the Grinns, Cyn, Rob Stone, Adam Carolla & Rob Riggle, Three Beards, Thom Tran, Slant and more at both the Fox Theater Pomona and the Glass House. For every full price ticket sold, an active service member will receive a free ticket; tickets are discounted for veterans and retirees.
 ► Prog-metal rockers Dream Theater celebrate the 20 year anniversary of their album “Metropolis Pt. 2” and the release of their new album “Distance Over Time” at the Wiltern.
► Darkwave, post-punk bats Cold Cave descend home on the final night of their tour at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, recently releasing the video for their new single “Promised Land” (directed by Travis Shinn and Jeremy Danger). ADULT. (recently releasing their “Subsurface/Coming Apart” EP) and Vowws (with a new video for “Structure of Love II,” their collaboration with the Deftones’ Chino Moreno) open. 
 ► Jenny Lewis plays a free show at Amoeba behind her first album in five years, “On the Line,” releasing today (see “Wasted Youth” and “Red Bull & Hennessy”).
 ► Datamaps (M. Paul Larson) shares his swoon-worthy new songs at the Hotel Café Second Stage. Jimbo Pap, Night Market, Merit Badge, the Mazarines and Covenhoven are also scheduled for the night.
