► The Milk Carton Kids [see “All the Things That I Did and All the Things That I Didn’t Do”] play their sad songs as a comedy hour at tonight’s soldout show at Largo at the Coronet.
► UK singer-songwriter James Bay makes good on his return to the Wiltern tonight after having to postpone last year. To help make amends, he arrives with a new single, “Peer Pressure (featuring Julia Michaels).” Noah Kahan opens.
► Mexico indie rock outfit Reyno headline the Echoplex, their latest single, “Fuerza Ancestral,” released in January, with Cesar Saez opening.
► LA/NY bi-coastal Latin American R&B artist A. CHAL headlines School Night at Bardot behind his new EP, “Exotigaz.” Eman8 (fka Brandyn Burnette), Chandler Juliet and Joshua Speers open.
► The following residencies hold the final night of their March residencies:
     – Jamie Drake supporting her debut album, “Everything’s Fine,” at the Bootleg Theater, with Greg Loiacono, Rachel Goodrich and Scott Hirsch opening,
     – Perfection [see “What a Nice Time”] at the Echo, with Brutus VIII, Gap Girls and Cyrogeyser opening, and
     – The Absurd bring their irony back one more night at the Satellite, with the Gitas, Vanessa Silberman and Gabrielle Graves opening.
