► Simple Creatures — the new duo of Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low — play their first L.A. show at the Belasco Theater. Their debut EP, “Strange Love,” comes out Friday.
► Australian singer-songwriter RY X headlines the Theatre at Ace Hotel in support of his new album, “Unfurl.”
