L.A. shows for Monday:

Dexter Story celebrates the release of his album “Bahir” — a full-length that features Sudan Archives, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Josef Leimberg, Marie Daulne (of Zap Mama) and Ethiopian singer Hamelmal Abate, among others — with a show at Zebulon. Guest DJs Cut Chemist and Carlos Niño round out the night.
► Australian quintet the Rubens visit the Moroccan Lounge in support of their 2018 album “LO LA RU,” with Veronica Bianqui and Future Jr. opening.
► And a trio of excellent residencies kick off: Forever X2 at the Satellite (along with Distant Cousins, Somme and Talip); Low Hum at the Echo (with Turtles on Speed, Pink Skies and Beginners); and Izaak Opatz at the Bootleg Theater (joined by Jonny Fritz and Dylan Rodrigue).
