► Day 1 of the Sabroso Festival brings Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, Strung Out, the Suicide Machines, Adolescents and D.I. (along with wrestling, tacos and craft beer) to Doheny State Beach. [Set times at the end of this post.]
► Indie duo Girlpool headlines the Regent Theater in support of their new album “What Chaos Is Imaginary,” with Hatchie and Kitten supporting.
► Swedish-Argentinian singer-songwriter José González, along with the German-Swedish collective the String Theory, do the first of two nights at the Los Angeles Theater. The live album “José González & the String Theory: Live in Europe” was released in February.
► Mt. Joy and Wilderado do the second of two sold-out nights at the Teragram Ballroom.
► Meat Puppets headline the Troubadour in support of their new album “Dusty Notes.”
► The Warlocks perform their 2007 album “Heavy Deavy Skull Lover” and more at the Hi Hat. Stevenson Ranch Davidians and Low Volts open.
► Australian singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly visits the Bootleg Theater in support of her new album “Beware of the Dogs,” with Faye Webster opening.
► And Murs holds forth at the Roxy, joined by Locksmith and Cojo.
