► North Carolinan Kelsey Lu does the first of two sold-out nights at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in support of her acclaimed debut, “Blood.”
► Ben Kweller, back with his first new music in five years, headlines the Roxy, joined by MainMan and Modern Love Child.
► There will be “Some Rap Songs” and more with Earl Sweatshirt at the Glass House, where the L.A. artist is joined by NYC rapper MIKE.
► With their album “In Plain Sight” arriving May 24, Scotland’s Honeyblood headline the Echo, supported by Ariel View and Janelane.
► KidEyes [see “Alive”] headline the Bootleg Theater, joined by Hearts Like Lions and Tiffany Stringer.
► And Nightjacket, Dream Machines, Saro and Coffee Shop Arena Rock (Curtis Peoples and friends) team up to play a benefit for Aids Life Cycle at the Troubadour.
