Like Totally Music Festival canceled

The Like Totally Music Festival, which was scheduled to bring the likes of the Bangles, Public Image Ltd., the Romantics, the Smithereens and more to Huntington State Beach today, has been canceled.

On Friday, organizers notified ticket-holders of the cancellation: “We are very saddened to announce the cancellation of the Like Totally Music Festival … We unfortunately have issues we cannot resolve to continue and for the safety and well-being of the bands and fans we have to make this decision. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on rescheduling the festival for a later date and tickets will be honored at that time.”

That announcement followed the news Thursday that the Bangles had dropped off the festival. A post on their Facebook page cited “unforeseen circumstances.”
