► Avant-pop artist Holly Herndon visits the Teragram Ballroom on Saturday night behind her acclaimed album “PROTO.” Tickets are $22 and available here.
► SASAMI, whose debut album came out in March, plays the free Off the 405 concert series at the Getty.
► Laura Stevenson visits the Bootleg Theater in support of her new album “The Big Freeze,” with Completions opening.
► Taleen Kali and Potty Mouth team up for an early show celebrating the release of Dum Dum Zine No. 6. Space Kelly opens; doors at 5:30.
► The Bash Dogs head up the lineup at the Hi Hat, joined by Hearty Har and Dream Phases.
► And Day 1 of the Doheny Blues Festival brings Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Taj Mahal, Robert Cray Band, Allman Betts Band, North Mississippi All-Stars and more to Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point.
