Genius Loci Fest returns to Baja California on June 20-24

Genius Loci, the mini-festival/campout that offers fans of electronic music, yoga and surfing a chance to commune on a remote Mexican beach, returns June 20-24.

The seventh edition of the festival, held at Punta Cabras beach south of Ensenada in Baja California, features a lineup including Justin Martin, Cut Snake, Marques Wyatt, Justin Jay, Lonely Boy, Dink!, Luke Mandala and co-host Henry Pope, among many others. it also includes lives performances by the likes of Foxtrails, TV Broken Third Eye Open and Christopher Hawley.

One of the most eclectic of what are known as “consciousness” festivals, Genius Loci also offers include yoga and environmental workshops and surf lessons, along with the chance to go almost completely off the grid. This section of the fest’s website gives you an idea of what to expect.
