► Fresh from Manchester, Lyerr will play the Roxy as the winner of a battle-of-the-bands competition by Virgin Atlantic. Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis) will be joining them.
► Local purveyors of garage fuzz Fencer headline at the Moroccan Lounge behind their latest single, “Junebug.” SPELLES, Small Forward and the Rare Occasions open.
► Sensuous synth soundscapes await at a free show at Zebulon with Newboy, Perfume, Sebeyu and Hyacinth Boo.
► And it’s the final night of Monday May residencies:
Harry Katz & the Pistachios bring their jubilant rock n’ roll brass to the Satellite. Rambling Ways and Tar & Flowers open.
CAPYAC brings the funk to the Echo behind their latest single “Little Toes,” a sweet collaboration with Annabelle MacGinnis (Free Debris/MetronOhm). Calvin the II, Cool Company and Sugi Dakks open.
