► Dead & Company do the first of two nights at the Hollywood Bowl.
► Andrew Bird visits the Wiltern in support of his new album, “My Finest Work Yet.” Madison Cunningham opens the night.
► Japanese instrumental rockers MONO play the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever behind their last album “Nowhere Not Here,” with Emma Ruth Rundle opening.
► Brass Box, whose debut album “The Cathedral” came out in April, kick off their Monday night residency at the Echo, joined by Das Kope, Lone Priestess and Strand.
► Sleeplust start their residency at the Satellite, with the Gutter Daisies and Turtles on Speed opening.
► And Colorado’s Slow Caves play the Hi Hat behind their new album “Falling,” with Mighty, Drowsy and D.A. Stern supporting.
