* Updates site of SOAK show.

► Summer on 7th — the annual benefit for kids’ educational programs — brings Best Coast, Shannon & the Clams, JRocc and Peanut Butter Wolf, to Inner-City Arts (720 Kohler St.).
► Inner Wave (see “Mushroom”) headlines the Fonda Theatre, with Claud opening.
► * Irish singer-songwriter SOAK (aka Bridie Monds-Watson) headlines the Echoplex in support of her new album “Grim Town,” with Fenne Lily supporting. [See “Everybody Loves You.”] Doors for this show at 5:30 p.m.
► Kitten rock the Troubadour, joined by Iconique.
► Princess (Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum) bring their Prince party to the Teragram Ballroom.
► The annual KROQ Weenie Roast boasts a lineup of the Lumineers, 311, Silversun Pickups, DJ Snoopadelic, the Revivalists, Catfish and the Bottlemen, X Ambassadors, Flora Cash, Smith & Tell and the Regrettes, all performing at  Doheny State Beach.
► Day 1 of the annual Playboy Jazz Festival brings Kool & the Gang, Béla Fleck & the Flecktones, Terence Blanchard & the E-Collective, Sheila E. and more to the Hollywood Bowl.
