Thom Yorke announces release of new album ‘ANIMA’ next week

Thom Yorke announced today that his new album “ANIMA” will be released digitally next Thursday, with a physical release to follow on July 19.

Next week’s release will be accompanied by a short film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson featuring three of the album’s nine tracks. The physical release (on CD, black double-vinyl, limited-edition orange double-vinyl or heavyweight orange double-vinyl with a 40-page lyric book and pencil drawings by Stanley Donwood and Dr Tchock) will feature a bonus song not available on the digital release.

Tickets for the Radiohead main man’s tour, on which he will be accompanied by Nigel Godrich, go on sale Friday.
