Queen & Adam Lambert do it up big at the Forum.
► Colombian standouts Monsieur Periné bring their “La Sombra World Tour” to the El Rey Theatre, with Tropa Magica opening.
Grizfolk celebrate today’s release of their new album “Rarest of Birds” with a show at the Troubadour. Get there early for Laura Jean Anderson and JEMS.
Dean Wareham performs the classic Galaxie 500 album “On Fire” (released 30 years ago this fall) at the Teragram Ballroom.
► Long-running Kansas indie-rockers the Appleseed Cast visit the Bootleg Theater in support of their new album “The Fleeting Light of Impermanence.” L.A. standouts Young Jesus open the night.
► Chicano Batman’s É Arenas and Bardo make solo appearances at the Echoplex, where Los Retros kick off the night.
