Scottish rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks connected the past and the present at Sunday’s concert with an adoring crowd at the Teragram Ballroom.
Touring in support of the deluxe reissue of their 2009 album “These Four Walls” — made when they were just 21 — they inspired a healthy bit of pogo-ing and mini-moshpits as they tore through “These Four Walls” from front to back. They followed with selections alternating between their latest album “The More I Sleep the Less I Dream” and 2011’s “In the Pit of the Stomach.”
Glaswegian band Catholic Action opened the night, winning the crowd with just a 30-minute set.
WWPJ setlist: It’s Thunder and It’s Lightning, Ships With Holes Will Sink, Roll Up Your Sleeves, Conductor, A Half Built House, This is My House This is My Home, Quiet Little Voices, Moving Clocks Run Slow, Short Bursts, Keeping Warm, An Almighty Thud, Hanging In, Boy in the Backseat, Make It Easier, Sore Thumb, Repeating Patterns, Pear Tree.
