Buzz Bands LA returns to Echo Park Rising for an eighth consecutive year on Saturday, Aug. 17, presenting a lineup of 10 L.A. artists in the Champagne Room at Taix.
The day will be packed: Caught a Ghost will preview some long-awaited new music; Trapdoor Social will cap the night with a horn section-spiked party; and Low Hum will rock the stage with selections from their new album “Room to Breathe.”
Plus, Jagged Baptist Club will rage with picks from their debut LP “Reptile Super Show,” while three artists — Talker (“Horror Films”), Talk Time (“Year of Self”) and Cosmo Gold (“Waiting on the City”) — will sample from their excellent 2019 EPs and preview coming attractions.
Stop by early (and often) to catch Ward, previewing songs from their forthcoming full-length; Opus Vitae, performing their recent singles and more; and Data Maps, the new project from stalwart singer-songwriter Paul Larson.
DJ Bumbaclot will be back to provide his searing mix of rock, rap and electro between bands, and for the faithful, we’ll have some new hand-screened Buzz Bands LA T-shirts on hand. RSVP to the event page here.
The full lineup for the ninth annual Echo Park Rising is forthcoming.
