Wu Tang Clan will perform their groundbreaking album “Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)” at this year’s Desert Daze festival on Oct. 10-13 at Moreno Beach at Lake Perris.
Along with the news of the Clan’s headlining set, there were other major lineup additions: Devo will kick off its farewell tour at the festival; Ween will be performing their 1994 album “Chocolate & Cheese;” and Khruangbin, Alvvays, Pussy Riot, Moses Sumney and Jessica Pratt have been added to the roster.
Those artists join an already-eclectic bill for the eighth annual Desert Daze that includes the Flaming Lips (giving a 20th-anniversary performance of “The Soft Bulletin”), Flying Lotus (in 3D), Stereolab, Animal Collective, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, Dungen (performing “Ta Det Lugnt”), Temples, Connan Mockasin, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Atlas Sound, Wand, SASAMI and many more.
Weekend GA passes are on sale now, currently starting at $259.
