► It’s the second of the four-day Echo Park Rising (see full set times). Among the recommended artists playing tonight: Sister Mantos and Palm Springsteen on the outdoor Liberty Stage; Kills Birds, the Paranoyds and SWIMM at the Echoplex; Disco Shrine at the Echo; Cryogeyser at Stories; Spare Parts for Broken Hearts at American Barbershop; the Eagle Rock Gospel Singers at Taix; Alice Wallace at Trencher; the Ceremonies and Drinker at the Semi-Tropic; and Yip Yops, Ariel Beesley and Livingmore at Little Joy.
► Chilean singer Mon Laferte headlines the Palladium, with Ambar Lucid opening.

► Ty Segall & Freedom Band continue their Friday night residency at the Teragram Ballroom, tonight performing the new album “First Taste” along with 2011’s “Goodbye Bread.” The Intelligence opens.
► The Soft White Sixties rock the Moroccan Lounge, supported by Them Evils and King Dream.
► And Seattle’s Hibou — aka Peter Michel — visits the Hi Hat in support of the new album “Halve,” which came out last month of Barsuk Records. Tangerine and Jordan Gatesmith (Wellness) open the night.
