L.A. concerts for Wednesday:

Rostam is the headliner as the Twilight on the Pier free concerts series kicks off in Santa Monica. Dijon and Jen Awad roundup out tonight’s lineup.
► The great Herbie Hancock helms a program titled “Next Generation” at the Hollywood Bowl that includes the Robert Glasper supergroup R+R=Now, Thundercat and Phoelix.
► Fresh off opening for the Rolling Stones on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Vista Kicks headline the Teragram Ballroom, with Aging Actress (Lauren Ruth Ward and Chriss Hess of SWIMM) and Honyock supporting.
► Canada’s Homeshake headlines the Regent Theater, with KeithCharles opening.
Hablot Brown headline the Moroccan Lounge, joined by Malia and Mia Garcia.
Fencer rocks the Satellite, supported by Jakey Heartbreak & the Bad Skulls and the Gutter Daisies.
More Giraffes visit the Hi Hat, along with Figs Vision, Gavin Haley and Love, Alexa.
