► U.K. up-and-comers the Rolling Stones bring their No Filter Tour to the Rose Bowl. Kaleo opens.
► With their new album “Closer Than Together” arriving Oct. 4, the Avett Brothers headline the Greek Theatre, with Lake Street Dive supporting.
► Producer, songwriting collaborator and trumpeter Josef Leimberg plays the finale of the Skirball Cultural Center’s free Sunset Concerts series.
► Grace VanderWaal plays the first of two nights at the El Rey Theatre, with Jade Jackson opening.
