It’s been a little over a year since Lindsey Jordan released her deservedly acclaimed debut album as Snail Mail, and eight months since she last visited L.A., then doing a support gig for Parquet Courts.

Riding the success of that album, “Lush,” Snail Mail has spent much of the summer on their own headlining jaunt. By the time they reached the Wiltern for the tour’s penultimate date, Jordan sounded gassed. “I just want to fucking sleep in and play my Xbox,” the 20-year-old singer-songwriter joked on a night she and her band fed off the crowd’s boundless energy. “That being said, I am thankful for this opportunity and thank you all for coming.”

Snail Mail’s crisp (and encore-less) set wound up with Jordan performing a new song and then “Stick,” both solo.

With her debut album having come out in March, Sasami — aka Sasami Ashworth — preceded Snail Mail, entering with a scream, speaking in a growl, welcoming Jordan onstage to join her for a new song and wondering: “I’m from L.A., who is actually from L.A. here?” There were screams, and she jokingly replied, “Bunch of liars. I’m from K-town”

Salt Lake City’s Choir Boy opened the night.
