L.A. concerts for Thursday:

Smashing Pumpkins and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds team up for a night at Irvine’s FivePoint Amphitheatre, with AFI kicking off the proceedings.
► New Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bryan Ferry headlines the Greek Theatre.
Sam Marine & the Walks of Life do a night at the Morocan Lounge — get there early for Mara Connor and Brian Whelan.
► Twenty-five years after “Stay (I Missed You)” was No. 1 on the charts, Lisa Loeb performs old songs and new at Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theater.
LEAN headlines the Bootleg Theater, joined by the Young Wild and Creature Canyon.
► And Nashville quintet Free Throw visits the Hi Hat in support of their latest album “What’s Past Is Prologue,” with Chris Farren, Youth Fountain and Macseal supporting.
