This year, Ace Hotel marks its 20th anniversary with a concert and dance party at the majestic cathedral to the arts, The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. On Oct. 18, The Theatre throws open its doors to a concert featuring friends old and new, with performances headlined by legendary Japanese artist Ryuichi Sakamoto. He is joined by longtime Ace friends serpentwithfeet and Zola Jesus. After the concert, there’s an afterparty in The Theatre lobby featuring Seattle native DJ Four Color Zack and longtime Ace collaborator Eug. Proceeds from the 20th Anniversary Party benefit Urban Artworks, Sanctuary Art Center and Art Corps, three nonprofit organizations that enable the development of young artists and creative entrepreneurs.
